ON SUNDAY 19TH JULY,2015 THE REGIONAL OPEN WATER CHAMPIONSHIPS WERE HELD AT WHITTINGHAM LAKE IN NORWICH.
We had three Rad Swimmers who took part for the first time in open water swimming, Lucy Bailey who took part in the 1500m and came 4th in her age group for Essex which was a great achievement. Elizabeth Everitt took part in the 3K event finishing with a good time, great achievement and Matthew Little also took part in the 5K event and finished 1st in his age group for Essex. This was a great achievement for these three swimmers as this was the first time they have competed in Open Water. Looking forward to 2015/2016 open water season.
ON SUNDAY 12TH JULY,2015 SOME OF THE RADS SWIMMERS TOOK PART IN THE GREAT PIER SWIM FOR FAIRHAVENS HOSPICE.
Geoff Baker came in first in the 56/65 age group, Jade Perry first female in the non-wetsuit challenge, Elizabeth Everitt did a really good time in her first 3.3k wetsuit challenge, together with Madison Little in the 900k, Chris Little came in 18th Place in the non-wetsuit challenge which was a good result for the first time of entering. Also well done to Anthony Little and Walter.

JUNE 13/14 GB MASTERS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2015
In June some of the Masters went to the National Championships at Manchester 2015. Phil Harper was crowned National Champion 2015. Lee North came away with a Bronze and Silver, and 2 Golds for Phil Harper. Also some good swims from Walter.
Very well done to the RADS MASTERS GREAT ACHIEVEMENT.
23RD & 24TH MAY REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS 2015
In May Zoe Walton,Lucy Bailey & Amber Head went to the Regional's at Norwich, with Head Coach Doug Drake. This was a great achivement for the girls, as they have worked extremly hard over the 2014/2015 swimming season to achieve Regional Times, together with Doug Drake Head Coach who has coached them along way.They came away with some new PB's and also first time experience of entering Regionals.
Once again great achievement and very well done girls.
COME ON RADS SWIMMERS lets do this again NEXT YEAR 2016.
